Small groups at Cahaba Park are known as K-Groups. The “K” in K-Group stands for the Greek word koinonia, meaning fellowship. We believe that God in His Word calls His people to experience fellowship with one another. In the K-Group setting, the body of Christ becomes and functions as a family.

K-Groups meet on Sunday evenings during the school year at 5:30pm for fellowship, prayer, and sermon discussion. Groups are open to church members and non-members and meet in homes throughout the Birmingham metro area including Homewood, Hoover, Birmingham, Vestavia and Mountain Brook.

To join a K-Group, contact Rev. John Pearson at the link below. You are also welcome to visit one with a member you know or on your own.

Intergenerational ministry is a hallmark of Cahaba Park and is reflected in our Men's and Women's Ministries. These ministries offer Bible studies and events throughout the year for adults of all ages and stages. From College Students, 20’s & 30’s, Prime Timer (adults 50+), Mom Mentors (for expectant mothers), to our Grandmother’s Prayer Group—the aim of all these ministries is to connect our adults in fellowship, encouragement, and care.

Kindergarten through 4th Grade

Shepherding the hearts of our children is the main focus of our Children's Ministry. We teach them about the love of Christ in everything we do from Kid's Quest (Children's Church) to Sunday School, and various fun events throughout the year. Most of our Children's Ministry activities take place in the Boathouse building. Click the link below to find out about ways to be involved in Cahaba Park's Children's Ministry.

If you have questions regarding our Children's Ministry, please contact the director Jordan Holt.

Infants through Four-Year-Olds

All of our littlest children are loved and cared for in the Lilypad building. We have a check-in system for safety and to note specific needs. All of the nursery volunteers go through an application process that include a background check. There are lots of ways for your little ones to be involved at Cahaba Park from Sunday School, Foundations, and various events.

If you have questions regarding our Early Childhood Ministry, please contact the director, Beth Pearson.

God is building His church through His Spirit’s work in His people. We want to ensure that every prayer need of our congregation is prayed for by someone. If you have a prayer request you would like to make known to the leadership of Cahaba Park Church, please call the office at 205.870.1886 and ask for Sharon Lett.

Throughout the year, Cahaba Park has Mornings of Prayer to pray for our church, our leaders, our community, and our world. We gather every hour on the hour from 6:00-11:00 am to pray for 30 minutes. For more information about upcoming dates and locations contact George Jones.

The first Wednesday of each month women meet at 7:00 pm at someone's home (varies) for a time of prayer. Click here to see upcoming dates/locations.

This prayer group meets at the Carraway Davie House on the third Wednesday of each month and is led by Sara Baugh. Contact Sara for more information.

With the growth of the church came a growing concern. How can we care well for everyone well so no one will fall through the cracks? We believe our Shepherding Ministry will help us love, serve, and care for the Body of Christ with intentional, personal contacts. The ministry provides a specific church contact that will stay in touch with each member on a consistent basis along with praying, and caring for them in a more proactive and intentional way. For more information about this ministry, contact Kelly Turner with the link below.

This is a ministry specifically designed for expecting mothers. We desire that all of these moms feel prayed over, loved, supported, and included. If you would like to be involved in this ministry, please contact Beth Pearson with the link below.

This ministry is for women who are struggling with infertility and pregnancy loss, as well as for women who have a heart for these issues. For more information contact Amanda Spencer with the link below.

Each year, members of our Marriage Ministry Team lead Marriage Enrichment groups. These groups are open to all couples and meet weekly in the fall or spring. To join a group, or for more information, click the link below.
