Believe in What You Can't See
1 Peter 2:4-10
Those who received Peter's letter were struggling. They had put their faith in Christ, but now they were wondering what to do. They were being persecuted for their beliefs, and they were losing heart. Peter needed to remind them, in their uncertainty, that what God was still using them to build His spiritual house. It is a house being built on Christ, the Cornerstone, who has been rejected by the world. God had chosen them to be living stones, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. We need to be reminded that God is still using us, though we can't see Him, and that He is growing us, as we come to Christ.
